I recently graduated from college and have been trying to get a job for a few months until I start grad school. After a long time looking I get an interview for dishwashing job. The manager is very unfriendly and shows no interest in me, but ends the interview by saying I got the job.
A few days pass and I get a call from someone else in the company saying that I will start training this week and that they will email me some forms to fill out. I do not get any emails.
A few days later I email back telling them I did not recieve the forms. They do not respond, and I email again a few days later. They tell me that “fortunately” they are fully staffed for the summer and don’t need my help.
During the week that this took to get resolved, I stopped my job search and am now back to square one.
