My boss made this big announcement last year about how we would get Juneteenth off as a Holiday this year because she said “celebrating POC is so important to me!” But last Wednesday I got an email from her “Hi everyone, I know I said that we would get Juneteenth off this year but it looks like it's on a Sunday this year :(.” Never mind that that's not how public holidays work.
