Been with an org for just about 5 years. Praise and yadda yadda,. occasionally been brought to HR like 3-4 times a week because people felt they were being 'neglected' and only to find out that HR found no conclusive evidence to support it. Well anyway fast forward to today I've been here by myself supporting the entire org to have them bring in a higher manager to not do anything technical but rather to manage me. Getting the resume dusted off and I'm not training anyone higher than me. Sink or swim just like I did when I joined. This is their definition of 'help' which is too many chiefs and not enough Indians (no offense).
