Okay, so this isn't gonna be long I hope, I just need to rant a little. I've been out on leave of absence because me and my husband caught covid. Shortly I into my recovery, a friend from work called and she also needed to vent because one of our bosses came up to her, pissed about part my part of project were working on and demanding to know why she hasn't fixed it, even though its something she doesn't even know how to do. My part is completely separate and requires different skills so there is literally no reason why she would ever even be able to fix it.
Also, the issue he was upset about is one that I not only spoke to my mentor about, but I also emailed angry manager the Friday (he was absent that day) before my own absence, knowing he would check on Monday, with the intention of reaching out to him and discussing what my mentor and I had discussed. He apparently acted as if no email had been sent at all, seemingly ignorant of the situation and taking it out on my friend, something he does frequently when he's annoyed or frustrated, only hell take it out on my whole group.
I have to go back tomorrow and I'm just not excited about it at all, I just want to get covid again and just ignore that place for a little while longer. Fuck capitalism.
