Antiwork

Just because you’re the size of a horse, does not make you a work horse.

Big bois and girls, STAND UP FOR YOURSELVES. I'm 6'6″ and 250lbs. I work a job that mostly consists of labor in a construction environment. Today I had to tell my boss I was incapable of doing something because I'm tired, haven't had a break, and work 60 hours Monday through Friday, I'm physically burnt out most days. To which, he replies, “A guy your size? Tired? I thought you could do more than this.” It took everything within me to not have a come apart on this guy. The fucking nerve of anyone to assume because you're a larger person means you're capable of handling more labor than everyone else and damned if you don't. I told him the next time he treats me like I'm a fleshy work machine, I'll quit on the spot and leave his shit on the side of the road.
