Went to subway earlier and when I go to pay, the POS system asks” would you like to leave a tip”. Just as im about to press yes (because all service industries deserve a tip when service is good) the cashier quickly puts her hand over the card reader and goes “Any tip money you leave through the POS goes to corporate, just press no”. This shocked the hell outta me. Any subway workers available to confirm?
