Hey – anybody got any tips that work to cope with lack of any meaningful vacation time?
I get 2* weeks a year, but one has to be saved for emergencies/sick, so really, 1/52 weeks.
I can't really avoid burnout working so interminably. There's nothing to kinda look forward to, so every week is just a grind knowing there's no end, ever.
I want to be happier and enjoy my life outside of work, but.. 6:30 A.M. – 4:50 P.M. M-F is spent getting ready for/getting to/getting home from a job, and there just isn't any meaningful time out.
How do those of you, who like me, have traditionally worked long hours with next to no vacation time do it?
At this point, it seems totally not worth it and I am just unsure of how to keep my head up for another 40 years.
