“Just don’t tell OSHA.”

My job has us working on open levels going up several stories. So from each floor you can look down between the grating and see the ground floor. To be fair we are explicitly told that if we walk past a certain point to reach product it is a fireable offense because there is a risk of falling. On the night shift this apparently happened recently. “We don't know the current state of the individual” is what they told us, which I take as they are either life-changingly injured or dead. Naturally OSHA has to come in and do an audit when something like this happens. An executive was at our warehouse and pulled aside one of the workers who was going to be interviewed by OSHA and told them to straight up lie, saying they don't have us do certain things while working, when in reality if we DIDN'T…

Needless to say, I'm quitting in the morning. I already have another job lined up that pays more for doing less and doesn't have mandatory OT where it's rare we work under a 10 hour day.
