i’m in a salary + commissions job but we are painfully understaffed so i’m not able to work on sales, only service work or finishing my boss’s sales that i don’t get paid for. i worked 15 hours of OT last week and only made $44 in commission all week, so at the end of it i only made $6.63/hr. i am exhausted. i got engaged on saturday and am so defeated by work that it’s hard to enjoy anything. i have been doing all the work and holding the office together while my boss goes on vacations all summer.
my boss called today too and got irritated with me that i’ve not been doing everything even though he acknowledged i stayed 45 mins late last night. i cannot win. i cant make money unless i do sales but i cant even touch my sales work most days. i just need to rant – this doesn’t even scratch the surface but im so exhausted. i don’t even know what to do. i just want to give up. i have no more energy because i’m just gonna go to another job and it’ll be the same thing again and again and again
