We've been answering phones for about a week now and I'm already ready to quit.
This is diminishing my mental health. I get treated like a toddler, they watch everything we do and tine us. For an 8hr work day we only have 8minutes to use the bathroom WTF!? We also only have a 30min lunch break, not even an hour.
I get paid $14 per hour, i can't live off tht where i am. I still stay with my mom and she needed help with bills so i took this job cuz its the first that responsed.
I'm expected to answer phones non stop like a robot for 8 hours straight with barely a break in between.
Meanwhile i can't even get my own apartment, or travel, or save up, its just stupid. I don't understand how employers give us so little but expect sooo much effort from us.
I literally have hospital bills i can't even afford to pay with a job. I'm so fucking over it i want to quit today. I'd honestly rather be broke than doing this. I just can't.
Edit: oh and training was non existent, they threw us otp and nobody knew wtf to do. We have a chat to ask for help from managers, but they take up to 20min to respond.
I get graded on how long my calls are..so basically, idk what I'm doing and have to ask for help that's barely available, and because of that i get a low score. This shit is so dumb
