Caught me by surprise. I thought things were going well with this job, but I had a conversation with both owners of this company. They said they laid out their expectations in the beginning, and that I wasn’t a good fit for the role. To be fair, I was stingy with my time as I feel I should be. I feel that I worked hard every day, gave them eight hours of my life each day and it wasn’t enough. What bothered me is that if my co workers had an issue with my performance, as well as my supervisor, why didn’t they bring it up sooner?
Part of it is my fault for not asking for feedback on a regular basis, but also this company works their employees into the dirt and I don’t feel that kind of time requirement they ask for is worth it.
So my job hunt begins again.
