The job kind of sucked anyway, today is my 3 month anniversary. I was doing fine until about 2 weeks ago when I was put into a new team. My new team leader was a witch with a broomstick up her arse who made a big deal out of a minor mistake I made and talked down to me like I was five years old. I never got any negative feedback from the previous 2 team leaders I had the whole time I was here.
The stress and workload in the new team was more than double what I had in the old team. I was considering leaving anyway but I hadn't reached breaking point yet so I thought I'd stick it out.
And it was a government job as well. Looks like the old trope about government jobs being cruisy and secure are all BS now.
Fuck 'em.
