Over 20 years ago my dad worked for a warehouse company that had stores on the west coast of the US. He was the boss over the one in our state. Today I learned that there was a union at his store that was fighting for higher pay and better benefits. He got upset that he had to negotiate with a union rep and thought his employees were greedy for doing so. Well, the company decided instead of working with the union they would just close the store down and fire everyone. Calls unions useless and all they want is your money which will cause you to lose your job.
