I started this job as WFH position due to Covid, the RTO date was continually pushed back numerous times and now the company wants my team to return 5 days/week starting in May.
My boss mentioned the possibility of doing a hybrid schedule when we return but the upper management never approved it.
I have now put in my notice when my team is already short staffed. I was even willing to compromise and work the hybrid schedule.
My coworker informed me he is also quitting because of the RTO mandate. It’s sad these antiquated companies don’t realize the talent they are losing because they are unwilling to compromise.
