Was there for a month and a half and two nights ago was the last straw. I'm working an overnight shift and my shift ends and we aren't done like everyone has to be out by 5am but my shift ends at 4. So I ask to leave then my coworker who isn't a manager interrupts and says your leaving at 5 not before. Then my manager repeated it and I told him Hell nah my shift is over and clocked out. As I'm clocking Manager says 'Get back to work and quit being lazy.' I just don't respond and keep it moving. Keep in mind I'm in college with statistics class and need to ensure my school work is done. This job is really unaccommodating for this. I felt disrespected by what he said keep in mind he's a team leader not the GM. Before this I had disputes with coworkers for not working fast enough or working too fast. Like for example making Toast. I'm dropping a lot fast and did so many with a full line that they threw it out 5 minutes later and we're mad about it. They had a full drive thru line. Then when I'm slowing down there mad it's not our fast enough. All the managers always repeat if you can lean you can clean. Even beyond that the other coworkers had an issue and were condescending when asked about something I had no idea about. Sick of the BS and toxic work environment. This is why I quit. I Work to Live better in College. Not live to work.
