Just read the damn resume.

I am currently employed but looking for work because my entry level job is a soul sucking slog and I spend most of my day petting fish. I got a message from a recruiter about a position earlier today and accepted an appointment for a quick conversation about it after my shift. We're about 10 minutes into this talk when the recruiter realizes I don't yet have my degree and practically runs out on the conversation. I don't mind that this happened, I get that positions have requirements. What does bother me however, is that it clearly states in my resume that I am still in pursuit of my degree, very clearly with an expected completion date. I decided to post this just to say, the next time anyone in a work setting tells you that you are not performing to their expected level just remember the folks that get paid to read resumes aren't even doing that much.
