I feel so utterly broken. My company lost it's soul that it had as a quirky start-up (as all seem to do). I have been underpaid, ignored, talked down to, and now they are doing more micromanagement. I'm trying to put more gas into applying elsewhere but my god I'm exhausted.
My coworker who is the other person on my team is also at his last straw. I really hope we can quit together and fuck over this company who never gave a shit about us in the first place.
I'm also applying for a masters program in music education, so hopefully my future isn't filled with this corrosion inside me. My dad has been super supportive of my decision, saying that if I stayed where I am, I probably would eventually get a promotion and raise, but ultimately that's just pushing a corpse down the river. That's exactly how I feel now.
