So I used to be an assistant store manager for a little known company called “Walgreens”, when I got the promotion our district manager (The beginning level of corporate positions) got much more involved in my development. He gave me great advice like “Find someone to blame or I'm going to blame you” and “If they're too tired from work they won't have time to find new jobs” or “You push them to make it happen, if they break you replace them.” and my favorite “If you can't make it work I'll find some one who will.” Just such a lovely man.
Anyway, I was talking with an old co-worker of mine from back then who still works there, she mentioned they'd gotten a new district manager, I asked what happened to the old one and I was told that he had an accident while swimming so he had to be out of work for a while… So they just fired him and replaced him with someone else! lol
Man today is a great f'ing day, that dude had been with them for like 24 years too. Maybe I'll start seeing him come to this sub now.
