Keep working through my lunches to the point I’m ready to stop being a hairstylist!

I’m very tired of it! I just got a new job where I thought things would be different but it seems like everyone here expects you to just be ok with it like I was complaining to a new coworker like she’s new to me that I worked a 12 hr shift (standing the whole time) with a 20min lunch and I had to stay late! I was really upset about it and the coworker was just like yea that’s how things are here! I’m not surprised that when I got hired people put in there 2 week notices immediately and now I’m ready to put in mine after just getting hired! Like ok it took me an extra hr to finish something so no one was prepared for that extra time needed but I gave the receptionist a heads up like hey this is going to take a lot longer than I expected im going to end up working through my lunch could you move things around? She was like oh yea I got you!! Then she called everyone to tell them to come in later for there apts and I got no lunch it’s just frustrating to have to keep asking for the bare minimum! I’m ready to change careers after doing this for 5 yrs. It’s sad
