Most other wealthy countries require employers to provide paid time off and sick time by law. I just think it’s absolutely insane that there is nothing like this in America. You can work 40+ hours a week and as far as I know, there is no law requiring you to get anything but a paycheck. Yeah, most companies have policies that require employees to get something, but the fact that a company can choose not to if they want is wild to me.
