Hi all,

This is a throw away account. I reported my employer and after 6 months I finally got the response from the labor commission office for a zoom meeting.

My stomach hurts and I’m worried. I’m going to have to talk to past employeer. I’m scared.

My situation well I was classified as a non-exempt salary employee. I was doing office and manual work. I was a lab tech and lab techs need to be paid hourly. But nope I was paid a salary of $15 dollars an hour in California. As my coworkers got paid on time on 26 of each month. I had to wait til the 7th of the next month. My last month as I left I asked for my timesheets and my hours. I got a “ why do you need that infotmation from my employer”. The offer letter that I received for the intial beginning of the job, I did none of that, my job in the end consisted mostly of cleaning. My vacation days and sick days were the same batches of numbers.

I feel bad for reporting the company. I don't want this claim to be in my background checks are deter future employers from employing me.

It was my first official job. This company goes through employees really fast. I was there for 10 months and I saw 7 employees quit. I outlasted 6 of them. The company had bad pay and the health insurance didn't cover anytging.

I was bad at my job, because I was so depressed and felt so underappreciated. I had some incidents occur where machinery would dysfunction mostly due to operator error. I never broke anything. Just there’s emails where i was forced to write to inform my employer what happened. Can i get in trouble for being bad at my job?

I don't know. I’m not sure I want to go through with this.
