While I have a decent job, for the amount of work I do doesn't match my salary. Started in January of this year and got dumped into case management (IT Support) 4 months in. Essentially the cases nobody else can figure out or don't want to deal with. No extra pay or anything for it.
So of course I've been on the hunt. I've applied for probably over a thousand positions since April. I've had 3 legitimate interviews, all of which offered peanuts or they misrepresented the position, labeled remote but anything but.
Normally I'd think it's me but I have 10 years experience in IT. I have current A+, MCSE, AZ-104. My previous position I was there for 7 years. It doesn't make any sense, there are so many postings for what look like solid positions and after applying you either hear crickets or a generic denial email within a day.
