I've lived here since the end of June 2021.
Sue me, but I didn't even remeber/realize that I was /suppost/ to be paying $30 a month for water, for some reason I was under the impression the water was included in the rent.
Regardless, I am just paying rent as normal, then all of a sudden I get smacked with SEVEN MONTHS worth of water charges they forgot to charge me. I truly don't understand how it's even allowed for them to do that….
There has to be a way to get this lowered or not pay it.
I rent from a very large management company (Omnikey in Texas) and they are famous for fucking over tenents.
The ONLY Thing it says at all in my lease about utilities and the water is that everything is my responsibility other than water which is charged at a flat rate.
Is there some way I can get out of paying this?
