Right now it's hilarious because I'm so glad to be out of there but I'm sure later it will really hurt my feelings that during multiple meetings today that included my team of 10 people no one brought up that it was my last day. I've worked there for 4 years and leadership said multiple times that I am the most experienced and knowledge member of the team.
I wasn't expecting much but a shout out during your daily meeting or a virtual happy hour (we all work remote) would have been nice.
I guess it does solidify my decision to leave though if this is how they treat people. Jokes on them. I got a new job with a 64% raise.
