I had recently worked a music festival as a security guard and was told my paycheck may take anywhere from 1 week to 4 MONTHS. Quite sure that's illegal to have my paycheck be delayed for that long.
However, my paycheck is to include, traveling to the hotel from Boulder, between the hotel and the venue and working 12hrs at the festival and overtime because on the last day, one of the artist didn't end playing till 11pm and we didn't leave till midnight, waiting for guests to leave. How soon should I reach out to the employer for payment? The pay rate is $18hr.
Would it be wise to reach out to the company that runs the festival?
