First, to start I’ll give some background on myself:
I am developing into a senior position at my organization at a well know food chain, I won’t go into details on that to try to remain as anonymous as possible.
I love what I do every day, I enjoy being the floor lead that people look forward to seeing. The energy the manager gives makes or breaks the shifts, I've followed a lot of the stories on here to take how people are treated more into my focus.
Recently I took a class at our HQ and I am looking forward to becoming the fire and show how people-oriented we can be in my store, I hope to run my own store within the year. A lot of the people I met were cold and cared only for profit rather than their people, but the other half had the same energy, hopefully the next set of managers moving up can to spread these ideas and constantly develop people to care first rather than focus on profit
