So I started my first job the last part of my senior year at a local grocery store and started at $8.75 with the promise of a raise after my first year. I’ve been here 13 months and was a month late on my review only because I badgered them to give it to me, only to find out it’s only 9 cents. Should I move over to walmart (i know how shitty it is) for $13.50 or stay where I’m at? I know the answer is a little obvious but I need the validation that I’m doing the right thing.
