Left Job with Good Folks for “Better Opportunity”

I left my my previous job two months ago where I enjoyed my coworkers and the company itself. The job itself was wearing on me a bit as I was a glorified customer service manager, but I was well compensated for the role. I left for what I thought was going to be a better opportunity with a similarly styled workplace environment, but my new TL is an awful TL. I’ll give two examples, but things like this are adding up and pissing me off. 1) About two weeks in, I was working on a task I’d just learned, and while waiting for an system generated item, I was texting. My TL said something like, “wow on your phone a bit do you need more to do?” I explained what I was waiting on, and she was just like whatever. Then, I was trying to get that task completed before…

Then, I was trying to get that task completed before a team lunch, and when she got up to leave she asked if I was coming. I told her I wanted to finished my task, and she quipped, “oh real workaholic now huh?”

2) I put in an absence request (AR) like they ask you to for an eye doc appt. I sent over the calendar invite to TL labeled “My Name -AR” like they ask and in the description I put “eye doc appt”. I send it to TL, and I hear her say, before she gets over to me, “okay I guess I’m gonna have to bring out the gloves on this one” like wtf?
She wheels over to me, and asks why I put in the request “sooo I saw you put in an absence request and I mean what is this for?” Cause I don’t have hours (probation period) 🙂 I tell her I put eye doc appt in the description, and she was like “oh oh ohhhh so you’re gonna be using sick time. Oh I must’ve missed that. I didn’t read all the way down”.

Stupid stuff like this keeps happening. Am I overreacting or what? Thanks 🙂
