I recently had an offer come through from another corporate company. It sounded decent and offered a higher salary so I took it. However 1 month in I had to quit because the day to day was absolutely dreadful and the hiring manager basically lied about the responsibilities and the day to day. I felt like throwing up from anxiety every morning, the job was that bad.
I now have no job, don’t think I’d be able to return to my former employer so quickly or at all, and I think this may be the beginning of my unraveling. Has anyone had a similar experience of being baited and switched into leaving your company and joining a horrible company? I’m just blasting out resumes but I don’t know how else to cope.
