There are only two people in my department who have been there longer than me. I've consistently been a top performer no matter where they put me at and I'm cross trained in four departments. I've got more leadership experience than most of my coworkers have work experience.
A few weeks ago a coworker got promoted, I was happy for them at first even though they'd been there only a few months. Well they let it go to their head and they brought in their best friend and their sister, had me train them, and then promoted them both above me. Hopefully I get some calls so I can tell them to shove it up their collective asses soon.
