i (f19) just got let go from my hotel breakfast job at a big hotel chain. i started and i was presumed it went well but note to self hotel staff are very clique-y and rude. i got along with the staff until i started working longer. my supervisor is around 60-70 and she talks behind the other staffs back, she snapped at me for making a small mistake (i.e spilling coffee) she played bingo on her phone half of the time. she was very unfriendly and unwelcoming. i would make small jokes with her like “more money for you!” when she would complain about working more hours and she would snap at me and say she works because she likes it & that her and her husband have good pensions. i just needed to get this off my chest.
