Let them burn the bridges.

Last Friday was my last day at a (insert big name insurance company here) and today I learned what crooks they are. On Tuesday my old coworker and manager reached out to me to ask how to do certain tasks in the office. Today I had a short conversation with my former office manager in regards to my final paycheck going out this week. I was informed that I somehow owe over 10 hours of vacation time when according to my check stubs, I have used 45 out of 40 vacation hours. I’ll gladly pay back the 5 hours I went over. The office manager approved every single hour btw. They refuse to give proof of what additional time I’ve used even though I have a meeting with them tomorrow morning to discuss this. I just found out that the last few coworkers that have left recently had the same thing done to them.

They may stiff my paycheck and I’ll be short by several hundred, but at least I’m free!

Insurance is a joke and never work for family friends.
