Now this is an average, but assuming you want to live somewhere where your car doesn’t end up on cinderblocks, we’ll go with $900/m. Food: A realistic grocery haul these days is going to cost you $200/m if you’re frugal. This doesn’t include toiletries. Wifi: No doubt a necessity these days. $50/m Subscriptions: Is Netflix asking too much? $50/m Phone: $30 straighttalk Car potential: $40 gas, $50-200 insurance $1230-1470/m to sustain. -2400/month income +930/m savings. Not even a thousand dollars a month to save or spend. Look, I don’t want a yacht or a mansion. I don’t want the latest corvette. Hell my apartment won’t even allow a pet. I believe as a cog in the system, a systemically proven “essential” worker, we’re entitled to more than just survival. I want my work to have lasting value…
