Just wanted to vent about being lied to.
When I interviewed with this job, they said the busy season was May-Nov, and the hours would be 5:30am-5:30pm M-F, then regular hours Dec-Apr. He said every other Friday off because of how crazy the schedule can be. matched my current salary, all was good.
Well, start working and turns out it’s actually 4:30am-whenever we’re done, usually after 15-16.5 hours. And busy season is Mar-Dec, same hours. The work life balance is none existent.
I’m just tired and frustrated. If I’d have known that when originally, I’d have turned it down.
