It had crazy mandatory overtime. I worked 6 16 hours a week. I almost got written up for missing work when my son was born. I made 15.75 an hour in PA. I ended up absolutely losing it on my bully of a Foreman for calling me out for not doing my job, even though I did it right. They transfered me and eventually fired me even though I wasn't in the wrong. I left the state and joined the pipefitters union. I was making 50.34 as a journeyman, but now I'm making 65.34 as a Foreman. I had to do a 5 year apprenticeship and work my way up, but I laugh at those clowns now. I make more on an overtime day than my bully does all week.
