Found out yesterday I’m not getting the promotion I was promised. It was a pretty big raise and had been working super hard to secure it. To make matters worse, my boss, who knows I’m a golf fan, broke the news to me by saying I’m the “clubhouse leader” for the next promotion. It felt like a scene straight out of Office Space. Going to start polishing up my resume tonight and applying tomorrow. Getting out here ASAP.
