So, I used to have things pretty well off, making roughly $15/hour on a good day. My company pays $7.50 commission for what should be a thirty minute editing session, and even then I feel like that's garbage in this economy.
Anyway, we've been getting less sessions in to the point that photographers are being furloughed. I'll likely be next on the chopping block and I just have no luck getting jobs. Chances for an interview are extremely low in South Carolina despite places saying “We're hiring!” all over the place, and after reading other posts here, I see why.
So, what can someone like me do? I need to make money somehow. For now I'm focused on video game streaming and making art, and it's making some money but not enough for now. Is there anything else I can do?
