However, LinkedIn is not the place to share your honest opinions about anything. Plain and simple, it's a trap. The majority of LinkedIn users on a very active basis is managers, senior leaders, and recruiters. The three most dangerous and potentially ruthless groups of employees at a company ever. Managers and senior leaders are the gatekeepers for you to get promoted, higher pay, to keep your job. Recruiters are the gatekeepers for you to get better jobs or move into another company. So if you should just happen to post something that even slightly supports wanting better working conditions, or putting a prior manager on blast for saying you don't amount to what you think you do, you can get in a lot of trouble.

Recruiters will put you on a blacklist, I would assume, If they see you posting stuff that doesn't agree with what managers and executives want. They don't want people to complain. They want people who appreciate their job, say good things, keep things the exact same as they are, spread positivity and joy, never speak out about better working conditions or pay.

This inevitably means that LinkedIn is not your friend, and it's not a positive encouraging place. It's a trap. It's a fast track to being put on a black list that will get you fired, and unable to find a new job
