So about a week ago i got this standard message on LinkedIn that i fit the profile they are looking for and they are interested in talking to me. They Actually had a salary range on they job listing with a range depending on your experience and such. Their maximum is basically what I currently earn/expect to earn with my next pay bump (not murica so there'll actually be a pay bump).
I answered this to the recruiter stating that my current salary is higher than their maximum range and that i don't think they are following the market(i wrote it very neatly). Fully expecting to be ignored i was kinda surprised when they basically said; ohh okey well what do you currently make then.
I don't know what they can do with this info or if i should tell them. What do you guys think?
