Living with a “living wage” 2022

So I live in a situation where my two older parents (not super old they are like almost 60) own a smaller house next to their own larger house. For many years they rented it out (it’s a super small two bed without anything special no ac, old fashioned electric heat, leaky roof, 25+ year old appliances) but they were getting 1,200 a month for it. Within the last few years their last tenant moved out and they decided to let my disabled brother move in for free. They wanted to get him out of the house and being a little more independent. Flash foreword a couple months and I was in an accident and was forced to come back home. They decided to rent me the “house” where my brother already lives charging me 350 plus utilities so like 600 a month total. I’m struggling with bills, I work…

I’m struggling with bills, I work a job plus several gigs a week and I’m threatened with eviction and court hearings by my father every other day(just for rent and the like nothing else). Aside from this I have car insurance and phone bills, internet and food bills (no snap card) that I can’t even think about because of the stress. When I ask them to be leanant they tell me I need to get another job or pick up more hours it’s obsurd. Together these people make 200,000 USD a year yet they insist I pay them 350 which could be going towards food or gasoline or put into my savings so I can one day succeed. At this point the utilities are in my name so I’m not costing them a dime so I can’t understand why they need more of my money. I should point out I also care for my disabled brother, making him meals, driving him to appointments, making sure he wakes up, getting him his pills( he’s 19 not a child). I’m only 22 and seriously can’t imagine doing this for another 60 years.
