looking back on my last cubicle job, it was basically wage slavery

We had something called compliance that we had to strictly adhere to. If we were not logged in at our desks, we could get written up. That included bathroom and lunch breaks. If we were not logged in one minute before our breaks ended, we were in compliance. Too many potty breaks? Compliance. Have to stand up? Compliance. We were chained to our desks 8-10 hours a day, with mandatory overtime and the threat of being written up if we dated go home on time. I'm so glad I quit that job, but I'm also sad because I'll never have that much money again unless a miracle happens.
