Looking for a way to roast people who complain that “no one wants to work”

I'm looking for ways to roast people who complain that no one wants to work jobs. Resources, statistics, essays, explanations, the whole shebang. Anything that gives more of an explanation. For one, I will say that the work culture in America, where I am, is absolutely abhorrent and chronically deprived. Education is required to be able to really do anything, and it's expensive as hell in a society where jobs are minimally paid. So of course many people, seeing the lack of better pay, might not want to work many jobs. And combined with the fact that many bosses and owners are freaking abusive as hell, of course I wouldn't put up with that and I'd quit if I had such a problem. An additional thing that'd be nice would be proposals for solutions to address the depravity in the American work culture.
