Looking for feedback on organizational structure

I am a first responder (not a fucking cop), but working very hard on music production in my spare time. I have been gathering musicians who are performance ready and wanting to record and I would really love to be able to transition to part-time emergency medicine and full time music production. However, producers can be some of the sleaziest capitalist parasites on the planet. I'm not that guy lol. Does anybody have thoughts or resources on good organization structure ideas for this kind of thing? I want the musicians to retain all rights to creative efforts and also have some kind of legal protection for myself and my efforts in recording/mixing/mastering. I'm leaning towards non-profit and/or workers co-op, but I'm honestly out of my depth. Any thoughts and ideas would be greatly appreciated 🙂
