Hey guys,
I had a conversation with a family member recently that enraged me. She told me to “not just chase the money” and then told me “things are basically the same as when I bought a house”. She's in her 60s and I'm in my 30s, so let's be honest, that's such bullshit.
I'm looking for somewhere I can find concrete stats of average salary earnings Vs house price, specifically UK wise. I saw a tweet on this forum about how it's now harder to buy a house than it was in the great depression in the US. I want to see where those stats are and where similar UK based stats could be found.
I'd love to have the maths just to hand next time I see her.
