I'm suffering from long covid. 0 stars. Do not recommend.
The brain fog got bad enough that I just couldn't work. I tried. Half-days from home, and I was making huge mistakes.
I asked for a leave of absence. They offered severence. I tried to get disability leave, and they terminated.
I wish I could even be mad. It's a really small company, under 15 people. They need someone to do the job. I don't know when I'll be able to. They paid out a lot of sick time. And I got a pretty good severence.
Now, though, I have to figure out disability & medical & everything for my family without employer healthcare. Because the system is garbage. A few months of sickness and the system is ready to steamroll you for life.
Notes: Company is too small for FMLA to apply. I already talked to a lawyer. Really just ranting about the system.
