A table of mine walked out without paying, they were seated on our outdoor patio. I informed my manager and her response was “You need to keep a better eye on your tables” I told her I had only just dropped the check off and I felt that it was unfair of her to speak as if it was my fault she responded by yelling throughout the kitchen saying “Right, I forgot that nothing is ever your fault” I was shook up as I didn’t expect this type of response so I exited the kitchen and continued to care for my other tables without a word to her. I walked back into the kitchen a couple minutes later to which she told me she only took half of the bill off and expected me to pay the rest I asked her if she could explain to me exactly how I was at fault for my table leaving without paying to which she replied by saying I “needed to keep a better eye on them” I sarcastically replied saying “you’re right it’s all my fault let me see the bill so I can pay the rest” she didn’t like that very much and told me my attitude was out of line I said “I have an attitude yet you were justified in yelling at me saying that nothing is ever my fault” she immediately told me to clock out and go home. As I was leaving she called me to the office to sign “separation papers” I asked her what I was being fired for to which she responded by saying “you screamed at me and got in my face in the kitchen” she tried to guilt trip me by saying how much she has done for me and how she’s bent over backwards for me I interrupted her and told her I didn’t need to hear anything else from her and frankly I didn’t need to sign any paperwork either so I walked out and left. This comes after I was let go from two previous positions for no reason or simply reasons that were made up. Maybe having a job isn’t for me hahaha.
