I am a manager at a company. I manage a team of people who do not really want to be there. They see it as a stepping stone to their chosen path.
So I have managed to get them doing things in an Help desk way (it's a helpdesk) and I make sure they are well looked after.
Now they chose not to do things and I'm always asking them to do their jobs. However today another more senior manager has told me I'm rubbish at my job. Even though we are closing 50% more tickets compared to when I started.
It just goes to show that even when you get up the ladder you still get shit on from above.
I'm getting paid less than market rate. I'm feeling sorry for myself and I might just drink beer this weekend to make myself feel better
