HR 301 – S.H.A.R.E. ACT – Secure Housing and Real Estate Act
In an effort to save the American Dream of Home Ownership this act provides the following: By the year 2030, all Single-Family Detached Homes in the United States of America must be classified as owner-occupied only. Single-Family Detached Homes cannot be owned by investment firms, corporations, investors, landlords or any other entity besides individuals. No individual can own more than two (2) Single-Family Detached Homes. This act refers to the ownership of only Single-Family Detached Homes and excludes condominiums, town-homes, multifamily dwellings, mobile homes, and any non-residential structures. Under this act, Single-Family Detached Homes may not be leased or rented in any way, but rather, they must be owner-occupied by the year 2030. Upon passage of this act, all Single-Family Detached Homes must be sold exclusively to individuals and occupied by those same individuals.
For the purposes of this act the Single-Family Detached Homes are defined as a single unattached residential dwelling structure. Individuals, under this act, are defined as United States Citizens or Permanent Residents of the United States of America, who are over the age of eighteen, who occupy the dwelling as a residence, and own the dwelling as sole owner or couple.
