I don’t think I’d be brave enough, but I’ve heard of people lying about their ethnicity/background on an application to become more desirable as a minority hire, for lack of better terms. It’s usually justified by saying the employer is not allowed to ask about that kind of stuff. Just wondering about legal implications mostly. Good day.
