Maintain your boundaries and set them early

I probably won't be getting the job because of this, but a potential employer texted me a day after emailing me and I set a boundary. See, I had already responded to the email, and the text said exactly the same thing, asking for times I would be able to interview. So I said: “Hello, I responded to your message already. I said, “You are free to call me on this number. Please do not text it again.”

If they don't respect such a tiny request, they'll never respect you as an employee. To these people, boundaries are just attitude problems or mistakes.

Don't let them push it, even this early in the process, and don't let them scold you for it, either.
